How an Agriculture Manure Compost Cache Silo Works

If you are thinking about starting your own composting operation, one of the best decisions that you can make is to buy an agriculture manure compost fertilizer cache silo. A silo is going to make your job a whole lot easier when it comes to putting your finished product, or heap, into the proper place. First, you are going to need to get the proper equipment for your operation, which includes, yet not limited to: a tumbler, a shovel, a pallet, and a garbage can. It is also recommended that you invest in some compost tumblers that will allow you to easily mix the finished pile.

The next thing that you will want to do, once you have everything that you need, is to head out and purchase your ag stuff. You are going to want to load up your silo with the organic material that you are going to use in your compost operation. This will include straw, alfalfa, and other feeds. After you have loaded up your silo with the organic matter that you need, you will want to go ahead and sort through it all. What you will want to do is break down the straw and alfalfa feed into the appropriate sized chunks.

Once you have the chunks finished, you are going to want to cover them up with some aluminum foil. This will help to keep the nutrients where they belong. What you do not want to do, however, is let any sunlight gets through into your compost bins. This could cause some issues with your plants and could actually kill your plants if the sunlight reaches them too much. Just make sure that your covers are properly installed, and you will be all set.
